Avenue Shadows Poem by Evelyn Judy Buehler

Avenue Shadows

Rating: 5.0

trees whispering leaves
and shrinking sun serenade ~
homes in formation

treasure fading gold
what happened to my sweet noon ~
but moon's still cherished

starlight appearing
over bustling city streets ~
in zones of the blooms

colors bring the smiles
in the lush butterfly gloom ~
zigzag fireflies roam

longer grow the plum shadows ~
bright lights appear in windows

What a lovely place to live. In the lush butterfly gloom, colors make people smile and zigzag fireflies flit about....Full *****
