Atop of the Effiel Tower on a sultry, smoggy afternoon
I took out a French cigarette and lit it up
The drag was sweet like yr kiss
But it isn't the only thing I remember
Yr indigo eyes were like the night
And yr blonde that might have gone gray
Or gone altogether
Anyway, it doesn't matter
Because it's yr smile I have been thinking of
The brightness of yr teeth could madr my heart sing
But it's all in the past
We departed without effort
And lived without thinking of each other
But now, that I am back in Paris
I hope you remember me
So light hearted, free spirited and thoroughly enjoyable, my dear friend LeeAnn! ...10
Beautiful poem. Love and life are like that. Enjoyed the poem, LeeAnn. Top score
Sweeps my heart away! .. My goodness how beautiful and romantic! .. So heart touching! ..
It reminds me of an old black and white film, a continental romance story with star crossed lovers meeting by chance. An enchanting work its a cinematic love song!

I would like to translate this poem
Oui, oui, mademoiselle, I remember you well. For you I really fell, and I was sick in the head when you left our bed and in the darkness fled.
This would make a great cowboy song!
