Bad Seed Poem by Talile Ali

Bad Seeds~
I heard some one say they hate a group
Reminds them of Michael Jackson
There was nothing wrong with the music
And their hate was so exactin
Got me to thinkin
Bout how we hate what we don't know
Sometimes for no other reason
except reminding of us of others
We think blows
We have more hate in this world
Than one could have imagined
Seems like hate out numbers love
Like the stars in the heavens
And the reasons are so simple
Fan with a fervor, filled with zeal
When it comes to giving love
We seem to all be just plain heals
People say they love a stranger
That they haven't even met
Even my the neighbor cross the street
They seem to hate me cause of it
Could be the car that persons drivin
Or the food they saw them eat
Or a smell comin from their house
Or simply cause they never greet
In a land of hate
We cultivate it
Like a garden
We propagate it
We are strangers
To hope and compassion
Knowing true love
Is not our fashion
From every one
With locks and guns
Propaganda's
Ugly son
We've made a business
Out of hates
See their profits
When we don't relate
When we're carin
And loving true
It seems we don't
know what to do
Did we ever know what it was
To love each other in this land
Because
Probably before colonization
When tribal nations did proudly stand
Cuz these people who inhabit it now
Kneel upon our necks and hands
Did they ever know how to love
Or was hate all they ever knew
Cuz We live in their land of sickness
Propagating their filth as true
We seem to show it like no other
As they share it like it's feed
As they toss around our the word love
as if its nothing while we bleed
Because the truth is that we do know
Not their love that's all just faux
Sick puppies
Running wild
Its their nature
To defile
Sick People
Rule or needs
A sick nation

CONGRATULATIONS being chosen as The Member Poem Of TheDay. A magnificent poem about racism. Profoundly presented. c.u.m. laude. My two thumbs up! Just changed the word c.u.m. with dots, because without dots, this word does not appear, only the word LAUDE we can read.Exactly like the word o.n.l.i.n.e, must be typed with dots, otherwise we can see only a blank space.

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds singing 'Death is not the End'. Are you referring to this group? I think Nick Cave is a fine singer, but he could have chosen a better name for his group. A fine poem anyway.

Heart felt words penned. The whole world has certainly woken and finally! Dramatic change is needed everywhere for this world to repair. It needs new leaders that care about humanity, not money! war or golf! Thank You Talile
