Beneath The Bright Sun Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

There are times in my life
that i just can't forget,
It's a time that i loved
that is now firmly set.
In my heart and my soul,
those fond memories lie,
When we walked up the mountain,
To look down from high.
We had dreams for the future,
We had plans that we shared,
And when i think back,
To a life filled with care,
I think of those days,
To when we were young,
Right there on that mountain,
Beneath the bright sun.
