Birds, How Can I Be.. Poem by Indira Renganathan

Birds, How Can I Be..

Rating: 5.0

Birds,

How can I be your mind
Dispatching mine sudden behind

Seems, heave no burdening thoughts
And no woes you to pinion in lots

Circling in the encircling space
Fluttering dancing in immense grace

Squeak and screech in immeasurable joy
Surging surfingnever to cloy

Happy up there high and high
To the breadth of titanic sky

Soar, soar o'weightless hearts
Weightless I say, on your worriless hearts

Weightless I say unlike mine weighty
Of sobs and sighs wingless and unhappy

On your treads of swift darts
Frail my heart heavy in vain parts

Birds,

How can I be your mind
Dispatching mine sudden behind

....Circling in the Encircling space.... I found it fascinating! Don't you think Indira, all of us are occupied in that, even after being on earth? !

Your words took flight - made me feel free and wanting to soar. Thanks, we must learn not to take baggage with us, start each day anew.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I am just flabbergasted... I remember, i wrote in my biography 'I do want to share my writings here To know how much similar / different We writers feel.' This is the perfect thing to get inspired. Weightless Bird, my goodness I had just posted 2 days ago... And here is this.. sitting pretty over the days. Birds are amazing...but i do feel sad for them When they get soaked in the rain Sit on the branch and blink at us. Rest all other feature.. they are just amazing You observation is too fine gripped.
