Birth Control Is Murder! - Poem by Ramona Thompson

I don't care what you say
I don't care how much you deny it
You can't dance your wicked way around the truth anymore
More and more everyday
A crime is being committed
No use in lying, crying or pretending that it ain't happening

Birth control is murder
I said it!
And no way will I take it back
Smothering God's plans for your body beneath your own selfish will is just not right
It's just not holy

It's a sin
That's what it really is
Plain and simple
If you don't want a baby, then for sure there must be something wrong with you
Cos no normal woman would want to take wait or take the chance that never have another shot at that dream

A dream that so many women scream, cry and would even die for
That's why I can't
I just can't understand how so many of you young women can be so selfish
So selfish and cruel that you would't give up a mere 9 months to carry a baby for another woman
No, instead you want to keep that perfect body for your own purposes
No, you would rather spit upon the hopes and dreams of your fellow childless women

Birth control is................MURDER!

Tell me ladies
Just when you are gonna get that through your thick selfish heads?

I am a woman. I am Catholic. After reading what you wrote all I can think is what a spoiled sheltered life you must of lived. The fact that you think all women take birth control because they don't want to ruin their figures shows how ignorant & uneducated you really are. Those women who know what the real world is like and understand how precious a child is will do what is necessary whether that is take birth control or even an abortion to save them from suffering. With all the prejudice, the child sex trade, poverty, the anger the hatred, the abuse & neglect how can you blame them? I think they are smart and strong. All those women who scream & cry cause they can't have children are a joke. If they weren't picky so many children would have a home no matter what color or gender they are. And let us not forget the sick and disabled ones, which need to much time or are to much trouble for most of those crying women. The men who left comments are also a joke. They have nothing to do with carrying a baby who is a part of your heart & soul that gets ripped out when you let them go. The single parent home which a very large percent is of course women, also speakers of how far down hill fatherhood has gone and why men leaving those kind of comments is just plain dumb. Don't get me wrong there are men out there that are good fathers, but they can not take care of all children everywhere. Until the world is a better place I thank God for birth control & abortion. He alone knows how & why. He alone can judge & forgive. Anyone who tries to say what is right or wrong and uses God as their reason for this is the greatest sinner of all. I pitty you and hope God has mercy on you and shows you the way. (Report) Reply

    the morning after,
everything that i could have been,
    was not taken into account.

i never got to see how blue
    the sky could be.

    the night before
    the decision was made,
    to erase me today;
    and delete...
    the human being;
    i had the potential
    of being tomorrow.

    *morning after birth control

P.S. take care. u xpressed yr constitutional right, very well.

my god ramona, as a man i do not think a comment by me at this time, would be acceptable, let alone worth risking, nonetheless, well spoken words, adamant and to the point, i aplaud the effort and especially the message, god does not intend to make the city desolate, but even the devil can quote verse from the bible to suit his/her means, pure regards please, gregory (Report) Reply
