They call it a blonde moment -
A glitch of intelligent thought
I knew what I thought I was thinking
But before I could think, I forgot;
It has something to do with the wiring
It's tangled, and tends to short out,
Somewhere in the process of thinking
I forget what I'm thinking about;
Tomorrow I may go out shopping
And buy a new color to try
So when I don't get what you're saying
You'll think that I do, but I lie;
I'll make a big change on the outside
So people will give me a nod
I'll still be a blonde on the inside
But no one will know it - thank God!
Linda, Yes - - - but are you - - - as I have been told, really having more fun ?
Very funny Linda. It's unfair that this rubbish has passed into common usage - but I'm sure it's got a lot of potential for exploitation by bright blonde's - the writer for example! Who wrote this for you? xx jim
Loved this 'blonde moment' Linda, as I get older, these moments happen more and more. : ( Great poem. Take care and Happy New Year. Joey
Very good, witty, offering, Linda :) A pleasure to be reading your work again! Jack.
Uproaressly funny. Such a wonderful flow and witty ease here Linda. This amazing write betrays the blonde who the poem so perfectly describes. Surely not written during a blonde moment. Love it!
Very creative writing and a wonderful sense of humor.--Melvina--
Haha...I really enjoyed that. But even though you have blonde moments, you have moments of great creativity (as seen in this well written poem) . Great poem...well thought out and well executed. Top marks! -Michael
Poetically speaking, blondes do have more fun...you've just proven that! Good stuff, Linda! Brian
