Born with claws sharp as steel,
driven by greed, a thirst to kill.
not for survival, but for supremacy,
they inflict pain with sheer audacity.
Shameful beings, devoid of humanity,
leaving behind a trail of insanity.
tarnishing the earth with black spots,
their actions speak louder than any words.
Destroying lives, no remorse in sight,
their twisted minds, a frightening sight.
born to kill, their only mission,
leaving behind a world in a state of submission.

Growing up attending church (Lutheran) I was 'taught' some things I no longer believe, ...like that 'God' exists. If SHE (or he or it) DOES exist and really loves mankind (which I would doubt) , why does 'God' allow what the poem alludes to? ? ? ?
I like that you didn't feel you HAD to RHYME every 'couplet'. But I like that most are rhyming. I don't understand or agree with all that Asim writes. Perhaps Asim wishes to leave interpretation up to each reader? ?
Poet's Notes? ? ? ? ? ? Come on, what's on your mind? Spots & words: I 'love' good rhyming, for its sound and for how well the words pertain to the poem.
