Bottoms Up - Poem by Vincent Tinto

Sad state of affairs
the turbulant times
my tires have no air
new hate crimes

The war in Iraq
CNN and un-realty TV
The bathtub has a crack
Unrest in civility

Markets as part of Globalization
Global warming stuck in our ears
needing one more weeks' vacation
preachers of doom igniting our fears

Take heed and take heart in the fact,
there have been struggles in history
no matter how far we are pushed back,
In the seeds of destruction lies the
hope of great victory
