A Facebook page I do not have
And so I chose this spot
To share these funny sayings
Of which I've seen a lot.
This is not a poem, but a collection of sayings that I have seen in English on tee shirts here in Brazil. Usually I can figure out what they were trying to say, and I will include that in parentheses if applicable.
The very first unusual one I remember seeing was:
IS NOT EASY BE ME(It's not easy to be me.)
Here are some others:
GET OVER. Did they mean (GET OVER IT.) (?)
BEST THINGS LIFE ARE FREE (The best things in life are free.)
KNOW PAIN, KNOW GAIN. This one sort of makes sense! (NO PAIN, NO GAIN)
I YOUR FOREVER (I am yours forever.)
TRAIN INSANE(? ? ? ? ?)(Train like crazy!) ? ? ? ?
PEACE OUT (? ?)why not just (Peace) ?
The show MOST go on! (The show MUST go on!)
NIGHT WITH YOU (I want to spend the night with you) ? ?
Here's one that makes sense, all right, but I thought it was funny so I share it here anyway: (worn by a girl)
Fries before Guys
Another one that makes sense, although it is not very complimentary:
Better alone than with you
Here's one that makes sense if you put the words in a different order:
ROCK
PUNK
METAL
HEAVY
(Heavy Metal Punk Rock)
For those who have read this before and discovered that one of the sayings is missing, that's because a kind Brazilian told me what it meant, and it was too filthy to leave here anymore! It was a play on words that made no sense in English, but sounding it out in Portuguese it did have a meaning.
Therefore, I have replaced the picture with one of a tee shirt in Portuguese. Recife is known as the shark capital of Brazil, and the saying on the shirt says: 'I was in Recife and came back! ' and the shark says: 'I'll get you next time.'
I Think This Is Cute And Interesting! ! ! Thank You For Sharing This Kim! ! ! Did Smile! ! ! Look Forward To Reading More Of Your Writings! ! !
Rebecca, I've never met anyone as enthusiastic as you seem to be. I have to smile every time I read one of your comments. Thanks.

I would like to translate this poem
Yeah, Kim, come on! You can make a poem from all these sayings.
No, I can't. YOU probably could, but I have no intention of trying that.
