Breakthrough! - Poem by Amanda Gudknecht

Streaming down her face
Saltiness left no purity
Sadness, emotion-filled loneliness
Heightened senses
Tug of war between the heart and mind
Circling in upon the landmark, the man
Rejection inevitable
Dismissal felt for an elongated time
Closing in from afar
Admiration for beauty
Forethought miracle
Glowing in excellence
Ending constant fury, her vexation
Bringing delectation to an unsought girl...
