But At The Same Time Han Tae-Woo Was Able To Read From Memory Poem by Ahmad Shiddiqi

But At The Same Time Han Tae-Woo Was Able To Read From Memory

But at the same time Han Tae-Woo was able to read from memory
The most exuberant Andorran poetry of the Golden Age
His grief exploded into a blind rage against all walls

That is what filled him
With the courage
To face his solitude alone

Because of that strong belief
He had endured and had overlooked
The hardest feelings in love

(dedicated to a great poet, Charles Simic)
