ব্যঙ্গচিত্র-
শিরায় শিরায় মিশে গেছে
অবিশ্বাসীদের দ্রব্য, জন্ম থেকে মৃত্যু
অবধি যদিও আমি দিই বিশ্বাসী
হওয়ার স্বীকৃতি
জ্বলছে আগুন বয়কটের
ব্যনার-পোষ্টারের উদার জমিনে
যদিও মিছেমিছি এ আমি নই
বরেণ্য লোভ সংহারে
পার্থিব মন কার জন্যে কাঁদে
কী ভোগের আশায় দৌড়তে থাকে
পাগলা ঘোড়ার মতো, নগদের
আরাধনায় লিপ্ত বাকী ছেড়ে
জানিনা এ জগতে কারা শত্রু কারা মিত্র
জ্ঞানহীন এ জন্ম যেনো আমারই ব্যঙ্গচিত্র

Caricature -
In the loyal veins have merged
The products of unbeliever, from birth to death though
I give recognition of being believer
Boycotting fires are burning
In the liberal grounds of banner-posters
Although liar I'm not the destroyer of mundane greed
The earthly mind cries for whom
Running after for what kind of enjoying hope
Like crazy horses, worshipping the cash
leaving the rest
I don't know who is enemy and who is ally in this world
Without the self knowledge this birth is like my caricature

Your poem demonstrates that to know self is to actualize self, and therein lies the source of empathy. Blind desires need to be uplifted from within, or else they will join in stampedes more grotesque than any caricature.
