A-s you cherish the April occasion,
P-erfect time comes so fast;
R-ainy night has just turned
I-nto a sunny morn at
L-ast.

J-oyful feeling is caused,
A-pril twenty-fourth day;
N-ew dawn has broken,
E-vening chill fades away.

A-s you cherish the April occasion,
L-onely dusk turns to light;
V-iew in the sky is blue,
E-arly sunrise is in
S-ight.

E-ach and every moment
L-ongs to bring much elation;
I-n your heart, mind, and soul,
C-herish the April
O-ccasion.
