C-herish the beautiful day,
A-fter the cold chilling night;
R-aindrops cease to fall,
L-etting the sun set things
A-right.
M-orning has just broken,
E-vening shadows vanish;
L-etting the gray stay away,
I-nclement clime has diminished.
S-ixteenth day November
S-eems so fair and well;
A-wake out of deep sleep, see the Lord's great miracle.
V-ery beautiful new day
I-s breaking in good view;
L-ovely morn that dawns
L-ets you keep from blue.
A-llow the beacon to shine,
N-ever let the storm brew,
U-ntil the howler fades,
E-vaporating into dark hue.
V-ile weather will walk out, as the twilight goes away;
A-llow your heart to love, cherish the beautiful day.
