Cierra Burrows /3 - Poem by Nick Minda

it hurts me to say your name
it hurts me to think of our memories
but they all bring smiles to my heart
and sometimes it beings me pain
then my heart gets stuck in the rain
thunder would shock me
memories would haunt me
your face would complete me
your voice use to help me
though a year ago isn't long
to me its like just yesterday
your love used to help me
it brought joy to my life
your death had come to me by surprise
i personally never knew that an angel of your standards could die
neither did i ever know that i could fall into a dark space of sorrow
now your face would be my eternal gift
for the December holiday that you have stolen from me
