Circles Poem by ANDREW BLAKEMORE

My dreams floating by like the wind often changes,
Moving in patterns through all space and time,
Winding their way over hilltops and mountains,
Sharing their sounds they are lost in a rhyme.
Into the clouds that are forming so quickly,
And hiding their hope as the sun disappears.

My life passing by like the season that's changing,
From glowing summer and into the fall,
The air getting cooler and leaves are now blowing,
Amidst the still silence I hear a far call.
The voice of an angel as light is descending,
Who tells me to wait for my happiness nears.

The promise I have lifts my heart to its wonder,
The sun now is shining as clouds move away,
The future is brighter I'll follow the rainbow,
Forger all my worries and live for this day.
The flowers are blooming and songbirds are singing,
The joy of the spring as the morning sky clears.

The circles of life always constantly changing,
Moving from sadness to joy and then pain,
Passing emotions through laughter and heartache,
When reaching the end it just starts once again.
I know I have got to just keep on believing,
And cling to the hope that it will dry my tears.
