City Life Poem by Kewayne Wadley

City Life

I wanna be with you.
Here, there, anywhere

Just past the intersection
Over the tallest building.

With the libido of city lights
Flickering on then off.

And the humidity determined
between you & I.

Our breath fastens
The traffic slim to none.

I've heard that the city swallows you
You'll be caught in fast pace

None of that matters long
as I am here with you.
There, anywhere

Long as I am crowded with you
Here in the big city

Exploring the intersection
Street by street
