Cognizance/Awareness Poem by Dutendra Chamling

Cognizance/Awareness

Rating: 5.0

Creeping for eternity
On a banana leaf
I was but
A glum caterpillar.

One fine day
Your mere touch
Turned me into a butterfly
Discovering the colorful world.

The growth from a caterpillar to a butterfly through a loving touch is beautifully summed up in limited words! Enjoyed reading your poem Dutendra!

What a wonderful thing to think that a touch from a person could turn a caterpillar into a butterfly! Probably no one else ever would have thought of that. Well done!
