Come Rest 5 - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Come climb into bed with me my love
and lets rest holding each other
tightly in our loving arms.
Just put your head upon my chest,
you know I love Mozart and Chopin,
we'll put on their music and be soothed
with each other and their beauty hand in hand.
Come rest with me and let us find
peace and ease with each other in my bed,
come let me hold you and heal your heart.
You mean so much to me and your pain
makes me want to cry.
I need to comfort you and see that smile,
come and listen to the music while I
comfort you in my loving warmth and
reassure you that I'm here, I love you,
and I'm never leaving.
Come into my open arms and let us climb
into bed to rest.
Let me hold you tight forevermore.
I love you Kira you are the woman I
truly and eternally adore.
