Conversation With Emily Dickinson Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Conversation With Emily Dickinson

Rating: 5.0

O' Emily, I have grown weary of words
And feeling ill and bored of loneliness
I walk in the rain of desire
But it only drowns me with moments
Of self-worth I don't have
And my breath seeps through
Without any life
Death becomes a true saviour
As I lie in my bed suffering in solitude also

Perfect poetess to converse with. She and Sylvia Plath would both be able to totally empathize with you through this heart-wrenching poem. Another masterpiece, my friend!

That terrible empty feeling of solitude and pain, so impeccably described we can deeply feel your deep sadness intensely; A great poem so well expressed it becomes unforgettable.
