[ INSPIRED BY POET INDIRA RENGANATHAN'S 'A NIGHT MEANS..THANKS MAM]

i wonder
..why this wonderful life
we curse as fate

i wonder
...why this wonderful life
we deter not to repeat

what do we really know
apart from it, , this lovely life
it pricks and pokes i agree

what do we really know
apart from this god given life
shall i differ to ask a hundred births

to experience HIS creations mirth

A nice thought sir....Francis Bacan in his essay On Adversity observe one point about suffering. He says we pay more attention to sorrow than to happiness. He says evn the Bible is eloquent on the mishaps of Jod than on the felicities of Solomon....to me, life is a package of both joy and tears. We must enjoy them both! Nicely done!

A man wearing a yellow glass will see everything yellow. One should learn to enjoy life. There is rose in between thorns, but we carefully take the rose without getting hurt from the thorns. Like this, joy between sorrows can make one's life rosy.

I also fully agree with Mr Rajaram's comments. Actually speaking one life is enough to know the beauty of life and the divinity of god. Great men have cried not to have any more births. I think one single life is enough. Even if we are born here once again, we are not going to know about our previous identities and so will lose continuity of existence. What charm is there under such circumstance?

Since the beginning of time, humans have wondered and pondered about our passions, our dreams, our failures. One [in my opinion]creates and experiences his/her mirth. But if one spends too much time on wondering and pondering, little time is left to create mirth.Good write a 10

A NICE POEM! I WAS NEVER A BELIVER OF RE-BIRTH & HAVE PHILOSOPHY AND THEOLOGY TO BACK UP MY VIEWS! BUT OF LATE I HAVE STARTED TO THINK, THAT IF SOMEONE IS VERY VERY KEEN, HE MAY HAVE A RE-BIRTH; BUT LET THAT SOMEONE NOT BE ME! THANKS FOR SHARING! -Raj
