Cursed - Poem by Garrett Doff

What to do, what to do
Trapped, its all so screwed
Don't know how I would or how I could
Fix the immeasurable torment that I should

Try my best, all the time that I should vest
In the deepest of sufferings I'll try to best
The monster I am, or rather have become
I am lost, and lost is me

I'm can be up or down, but I'm always he
The he that doesn't or won't
It makes no difference

Because I and he are the same
And he like me shares the pain
The pain of breathing day to day
Knowing if you stop, your family is to pay

Torment for me and not for them
Or death and freedom for I
Yet tears in all of their eyes.

Me or them, the question of me

This work glides like a Susan B. Anthony tossed across a freshly glaced icepond... Mellifluous structural movement...Like the theme, end your lone-line close-out is a spot-on ending! You keep that pen pumping ~FjR~ (Report) Reply
