Cyanide - Poem by Robert Barnes

i can't be strong
i can't pull through
too much hurt to carry on
not much else i can do
cause i found my way
found the path in you
but you can't stay
it's the inevitable adieu
i can't have you for my own
can't have you around
your love is only a loan
and the pain makes me drown
all i ever seem to say
is how i picture you with me
but still alone i lay
encased in the misery
an air tight cocoon
but still somehow it leaks
it's lets in lifes typhoon
and makes my walls so weak
so the option looks like suicide
cause the outcome is a gift
so i take the cyanide
and make it go so quick
