Daffodil Pretty Poem by Richard D Remler

Daffodil Pretty

Rating: 5.0

*************

She is gentle as a summer rain.
Silly as a candy cane.

Grander than a Ferris Wheel,
And pretty as a daffodil.

She is sweeter than a honey comb,
And funny as a crazy bone.

She's brighter than a harvest moon,
And spoil't as a silver spoon.

She is the pearl in a minuet.
And her kiss, it's one you won't forget.

She's the calm in every Autumn breeze,
And the smile that wanders nights like these.

And if the morning rise brings her to cry,
She'll blame the beauty of the sky.

And still you'll linger, just a while -
To see her tear become a smile.
