Darkness Comments

Great poem, the darkness vs. light is a great idea. i like to live life on the dark side

Light is the joy of receiving presents upon Christmas day, But darkness is the horror-stricken sight of someone dying in vain. I love those lines. good job with the contrast. greatness here. well done. *Crystal Midnight*

A really great read. The way you compare the light verses the dark evokes a sense of the duality in all of us. Though for some of us one is always closer to the surface than the other. And, lately for myself the darkness is coming up for air more often than not. I could really connect with this poem. I am not you but it seems to me that you are showing the reader that even if we live in the dark at this moment the light is always ahead of us. Keep it up.

Since this poem was titled 'Darkness' instead of 'Darkness vs Light' or 'Dark and Light, etc. may the reader assume that in fact you dwell among the darkness? Perhaps this was just the mood at the time you wrote this? Hugs, Dee

Hey Dan, theese compariosn do not correlate or coincide other than light and dark, usually in comparisons, there some type of correlatoin rather than just detailed opposties, i hope you get me. Such as: darkness the heaving dreary slug, that only blinds and stumbles a being, while light is expedient, worrieless, that guides and brings life. Those are just some ideas, do you see what I mean, though? I know it's your own style, but the structure would give some more enlightne you wiht that 'Thanks For Your Consideration.
