Dazzling Light
The travellers of the big world
Were travelling together with great energy and spirit,
They were determined to reach their goal,
After travelling a long distance,
One of the wayfarers found a bright light nearby,
Soon he jumped in an ecstasy,
As he thought that
They would soon reach their important destination;
But the other wise traveller knew the truth,
He gently said to his companion,
"Oh friend!
The dazzling light is a mirage,
Still we have to walk a long distance
To reach our significant goal."

This life's journey too is a strange thing. There's illusion all the way, call it Maya or Mirage. Science recently confirmed that there are 8.6 million species on the Earth and it is growing. Indic literature tales about 84 lakh yonis a soul has to take in a long cycle of evolution, or life; s journey. This is close to 86 lakh (10 lakh is one million) of science estimate. Interesting piece, dear poet.

A very interesting write. Sometimes our journey in life we are blinded by lights we thought could guide us. A well thought -out and conveyed poem.
