Dear Leonard Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Dear Leonard

Rating: 5.0

Feed me yr books and songs
As my Buddhist Jew Roshi
Feed me the wisdom of Montreal
In the form of cream cheese and lox
On an everything bagel
Washing it down with a diet Coke
And after a breakfast cigarette
As the sonnets run smoothy on the page
When left in that wind
Cursing the evil world on its ear

A beautiful and masterful tribute to the poet who should have received the Nobel Prize! LeeAnn, at the rate and speed that you're moving on...you're really going places! ! ! Congrats on writing one of your very best! Cohen would be proud!
