Death/Love. Poem by Dislocated Heart

Death/Love.

Rating: 5.0

Death,
what does it have to offer?
Freedom.
some of us think..
away from such pain and misery.
the way father's treat their own child.
The way husband's beat their own wife.
the way mothers yell and scream at their children.
& try with all their might, to take it out on us.

Freedom.
no, I see the end of everything.
Freedom is when,
I am talking with the sweetest person on earth..
she can turn the black clouds away..
make my everyday, a happy day.
She gives me my freedom.
The one and only girl I love...

I realize in this world..
there is no freedom..
unless you have hope and love.

upon death,
onces you've experience,
something such as love..
everything seems a bit better.
the world is a bit brighter.
theres always a smile here or there.

& with my thoughts of you..
You fill me with love..
and all that I ever need.

Death might seem like a way out..
but so is love...

wow this is so very powerful. the wisdom that is contained in these stanzas is rare from someone who is only 16. very good. hope and love are the only ways to freedom. wonderful insight on life.

A strong write. I wish more people on the verge of breaking could see hope as an alternative.
