Death Sonnet Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Death Sonnet

Rating: 5.0

Let's be buried holding each other
So, we can be in heaven together
I don't care if they think we are insane
We want to be free from this world
Anywhere we go, we would
Find someone against us
Saying we should be locked up
Only to escape the pain and the sadness
We see on TV
There's nowhere to go
But up in heaven
Where we can be accepted
For being ourselves
And to be loved

I think this poem may touch Many Hearts! .. As we feel the sorrows of the world today! ..

A touchingly romantic and sad poem. It brings to mind, Romeo and Juliet.

I'm curious who this poem is directed to. Your dog? (that would be so awesome)
