Despairs Of A Rape Victim
No, notso to do with the government,
With society nor system seeking rent,
Thanks, my hurts were caused by an accident.
My destiny playing a game of mirth,
An accident is it but of my birth—
Me being born a girl of little worth!

Months back a girl was allegedly raped by a sitting member of the ruling party in a state assembly; charge sheets duly filed by CBI, but no trial started. The victim and her family also gave written complaint about threats and pressure to withdraw the case, but no police protection, nor further action.Recently the victim's mother, her sister and aunt died in a car ‘accident'.

Here you have so touchingly delineated how a man sometimes behaves worse than a beast. It is very sad that it isn't to do with the government. Fine poem.

When a boy is raped by a boy hunter woman, he remembers it with naughty smiles but when a girl is raped by a she has only tears to to remember the loss of her virginity. Men are responsible for it, we all are criminals, but we should not a thing that we can not return to the loser, e.g., life and virginity of a woman.woman. A thoughtful poem by a great Indian thinker.
