Destiny's Melody Poem by Laquory Jones

Destiny's Melody

The Gods say the truth Lies in the mature
And wise maybe that is why God comes
To you by using servants as his
Disguise so it isn't much of a surprise
As I look at the elders straight in their
Eyes sometimes you just have to take
It back to Christ when there was no me
Trying to relive out history in B.C but
Maybe then you too could remember
Me I met a lady name Destiny in a Time-
Less place but at first I didn't yet see
Her face but it's always the heart that
Still seems to be chased wait I won't
Lose you yet just bear with me goddess
She has become my safety net ever
Since the day we met so no need to
Fret just let each silhouette do a
pirouette are you mesmerized by
Her yet as the hearts breaks a little
Sweat with each beat that you can
Feel that makes this truly unique
I can feel my heart constantly Sink
As it constantly go on the brinks
People don't understand when you
Get an helping hand don't ever let
it go while losing your grip
Because once you let it slip it's
A lifetime of searching just for that
One trying to gain what can't be undone.
