Discern Then Dazzle Poem by Nashy Lamen

Discern Then Dazzle

I'm melting in freezing eyes,
Fingers locked in my cheeks,
as it sags down.

When you pass by,
my day so bright,
my smile replaces my frown.

I wave at you,
you greet me back,
a ray of light shines through.

And all my problems,
and my pain flushed down,
because of you.

My thoughts of pain,
my misery,
relinquished now with joy and glee.

I stray away from the dark,
and brightness light's my way,
hope glistens and I see,

The happiness I feel with you,
And much beginnings blossom,
A new side of my own disdain,

So now I discern a new feeling,
As you dazzle me with what you do,
And I elude from all my pain.
