Do - Poem by Herbert Nehrlich

It's only you that sees the fog
and finds himself so lost within
the murmur of familiar voices,
do let the kindness of the sun
transform all tears to morning dew
and warm your heart so that it can
be mother to your mind at last.

I hope the individual to whom this poem is dedicated 'does', Herbs.
So much love and beauty in so few words.

I finally hear the music that Lamont is always claiming new poetry no longer has, Herbert. This has touched me deep past my mammoth mammaries and into my soul. Thank you. I think we can all relate. (Report) Reply
