Don’t Kill My Planet Poem by Melvina Germain

Don’t Kill My Planet

Rating: 5.0

A time will come when it’s too late.
A time we kill, we fumigate.
We had our chances to change our ways.
To enjoy, clear, beautiful days.
Now much time has come to past.
The earth has soured, no riches last.
I cry out in sleepless nights.
Don’t kill my planet, please help me fight.

Melvina, As a 'War Baby' and 'Baby Boomer' I share your concerns. Compassion and love shall eventually prevail. Peace, Ray

It seems that a lot of those fantasy type films are now beginning to become reality. Man heeds not the damage he does. Greed and selfishness has taken over. Great statement here. Love Ernestine XXX

Mel, I agree so wholeheartedly with you. We've all got to do our bit no matter how small and insignificant it may seem. Rather it be small than do nothing at all. Another little gem that speaks volumes to everyone. Top marks and thanks for sharing it my friend. David

Melvina, You can hear the passion in your words. We can only hope the people we leave behind will own the same need to help keep our earth a healthy and safe place to live. I loved this one! Thank you! Fondly, Ashley xoxo
