Dos Cervezas, Por Favor Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Dos Cervezas, Por Favor

Rating: 5.0

A sudden rush filled my mouth
Swishing around my taste buds.
I rejoiced drowning in this frothy sensation
My lips wrapped around the top of the bottle
My body felt the chill of this rapid rush
Spreading quickly through my veins like a plague,
Then suddenly
The weight of the world was gone
Wet bottle rings beading, dripping down.
Left from the melted ice placed on napkins long since discarded.
The essence of bright hues and bright lights
high bar stools, stained heavily in brown.
Low cut eyes and plenty smiles
All in good fun
Dos mas, por favor
