Dream.... Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

Dream....

Rating: 5.0

I awake in the earliest of morn
I have dreamt and
have seen people old and worn
I start praying to God
dear Lord, why is this so odd?
all things I have seen are old and torn
why must this be every earliest morn?
I know that I have not to worry
as long as I can talk to Thee
I know too well what that dream means
besides this wealthy life,
there is also the greatest poverty....

A woman who travels a lot had seen many aspects of life especially the harsh realities; extreme poverty. Being a woman of God who is vested with material wealth, maybe the dream is a way God communicate to the Great Poetess to continue noble endeavors to help the needy.

Waking up early at the morning every person feels and perceives certain natural breeze. Starting from children to old men all worship Lord and expect to gain Divine beauty. Wealthy dreams mean many things. When God's grace enters into life greatest bliss we feel and poverty is automatically removed. In both dream and reality we start praying God. A nice poem is excellently penned....10
