Everyday is an election
of elocution; in which
we all must decide for whom we shall vote,
and to whom we shall speak,
the high and the mighty,
or the mild and the meek?
Smoky, I guess because of the raucous background of the hard-to-escape news outlets, I first saw “election” rather than “elocution.” Years ago I read in the book The Politics of Jesus that it’s hubris for us finite humans think we know the way the future should go, but we do, of course, and even pray for it. May the future mean peace and enough for all. Take care.-Glen
The day is coming that I will no longer be subjected to an orange ego saying in answer to each question, " It will be the greatest! Never has there been such a great thing! It'll be the greatest thing ever done in the history of mankind. It'll be huge! ! ! Just wait and see! ! ! " I like your poem, Hoss!
Everyday is an election of elocution/// yeah right; for our right choice we can survive peacefully

The people have spoken but the cretin has 'revoken' their words, no doubt. Everyone hold steady and get the handcuffs ready to drag the rascal out.
