Endless Summer Ii Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Endless Summer Ii

Rating: 5.0

Let yr summer days be filled with warmth
And the sun is as yellow as a handful of dandeiions
You run across the meadow,
Clutching a collections of wildflowers
As the breeze is saturated with their scent
You almost die with excitement
Hoping yr lover worships them the way you do

Let yr summer nights be glowing
The light of fireflies
As you wish for an endless day
But you find there is none
And heading home slowly; still looking
You make a wish anyway
For the promise of dawn to fill the sky
