! Enlighten Me, Please - Poem by Linda Ori

How exactly did this happen?

You come to me after all this time
Ripe with emotion and passion -
The universe explodes with wonder
We are infused with its magic;

No need for words any longer
There are no words, only sensation
Caught up in the splendor of the moment -
Primal need, hunger,

You read my mind with your body
We need only to act and react
Souls connecting with every breath
You breathe me in;

No longer two separate entities
Together we flow into one
Pleasure and passion now double
Energies fused in the fire.

Can you explain this phenomenon?
This thing that you do to my soul
I'm wondering how did this happen.................
Enlighten me, please.

    If the time is right and the chemistry is right you have no choice Nature takes control (Report) Reply

    This one is a focused in topic. That is always good. Prose writing has a
    way of taking your focus and altering it. You have to keep bringing it back.
    I thought you did that well. I never lost the track.

    But L, we rely on YOU to enlighten us; and you have.

    That old cliche about two people not even needing to speak because they knew what each other is thinking and feeling.... some find it tedious... I find it beautiful. t x
