Mute and lone, Yon desert dune.
heavens apart old freckle face,
in silence stood my friend the moon.
I trudge along the shifting sand,
inching along the barren land.
The sun will rise; the moon again,
My searching gaze has centuries seen.
Cut and scared my naked being.
Swirling seas; untrampled lands.
near and far where I’ve been.
In yonder years alone at large,
I grab in vain at the fleeing mirage
Rise aloft oh morning star.
My bleary eyes see no far.
Guide me by take me home,
where flowers bloom, no worries roam.
tranquil peace that dreams had shone.
shimmering glow of the Eternal Throne.

A tranquil scene is painted in pastels. A serene and somber picture of solitude in a moonlit night, it's nostalgic and gloomy but hope too shines like a morning star.
Guide me by take me home, /where flowers bloom, no worries roam./tranquil peace that dreams had shone./shimmering glow of the Eternal Throne. …after grueling journey in ‘life-desert’…it’s our ‘Divine Oasis’…excellently poemed 10//10 Ms. Nivedita UK
