EVERYDAY POEM-29
10th June 2026
Today, for no reason
my eyes moistened
No one has hurt me
No one has said any harsh words
Why did my eyes yearn to shed a few drops
For a mirage
That has been showing and disappearing?
Some unexplained emotions build up
Some vacant spaces need to be filled
With words that are yet to come
Perhaps!

I've experienced the emotional mirage before. Sometimes we find ourselves in desert places!

A good observation of an emotional reaction, something similar happens to me, where all of a sudden I just feel a swell of emotion. Sometimes it's good to have a good cry! .

In the middle of last night, I suddenly woke only to find tears in my eyes. They were of both sadness and joy. Can't ever remembering that happening.
