On a summer morning, we smile at sunrise,
Plan to walk through fields of marigolds;
You have long hair and a slender body,
You have a necklace of jade
That hangs low between your breasts,
I seek to delicately kiss your necklace
And rest with dreams in this sensual sanctuary
That promises love and acceptance.
I become speechless thinking about you,
The beautiful day, the warm breeze,
The green grass, the flower petals
That laugh as they fall into the lake;
One can hear birds and insects sing,
Everyone knows I love you.
i'm earnestly waiting and thirsting for this feeling. good job, buddy eni da kid
This is beautiful Uriah! Your heart seems to just exude love and romance.......what a wonderful poem. Sincerely, Mary
Fine work, Mr. Hamilton. The simplicity of the lines evokes the essential complexity of emotion. The last line is a revelation and yet is inevitable.10 from me. Merry Christmas, Hugh
