Extinction Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Extinction

Racism.
Hatred.
And formulated genocide,
Is the worse thing that can happen.

"No.
I disagree.
That's been happening throughout history.
Research your facts.
Extinction.
A ceasing of humanity.
Wherever it to no longer exist.
That's the worse thing that can,
And close to happen to have it witnessed."

That's too negative of a reality.

"Oh?
I apologize.
There is...
From your point of view,
A more positive outlook...
To racism, hatred.
And formulated genocide.
That is much more acceptable and tasteful.
For the ones to believe,
They can and will survive...
Through a complete and total destruction.
Especially those who have been born,
To have 'good genes'."

No one survives a complete and total destruction.
That's...
Extinction.
A ceasing of everything that exists.

"You're kidding?
Really! ?
Well...
I'm not that 'Proud of a Boy'.
To stand down and await,
One 'chosen' to instruct that destruction."
