Fading By The Moments (For. Carmel Azzopardi) Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Fading By The Moments (For. Carmel Azzopardi)

Rating: 5.0

I long to see yr joyous blue eyes once more
But the heartache has gone numb
As the memories continue to make me cry
They are fading by the moments
That keep going through the sands of time
Like yr voice echoing in my ear
And the happinessthat you brought when you smiled
With that goofy, toothless grin
I yearn to be held by you
Especially, at night when I am at my loneliest
As I try to remember
