Fate - Poem by Gordon Jerome

Your touch is like a silken glove
Your beauty beyond compare
Your eyes reflect a gentle love
As I surrender unto your stare
Your lips cry out for my caress
You sigh as I draw you tight
For of this moment I do confess
I have waited the entire night
We lay together now side by side
Our souls to each other we bare
With nothing left for either to hide
Our true self we now can share
Senses tingle as our bodies touch
Now together we dare to explore
Here embraced in a lovers clutch
But a dream lingering on ever more.
“closing thought”
Within your minds eye is your perfect mate
May finding one another be your destined fate
