The most intimate feelings,
Do arise,
In Poetry,
No compromise,
They flower there,
And there they rise,
In every form,
In every size,
Completing all,
Your inner ties.
I'm feeling that poetic completeness reading this batch of poems by you with the single focus on the VALUE of poetry for individuals and society at large. After reading them, thinking about them and finally writing a comment, I can now feel those ties. It's just a fabric of words, but I; m tied to it because it has opened my heart and filled it with generous feeling. The only comparable effect comes from certain pieces of music, for me those include Alban Berg's Lyric Suite and Mozart's 24th Piano Concerto, music that derives from the heart chakra as do these poems.
Absolutely beautiful truth Sandra. The most intimate feelings are allowed to rise in poetry and it really is essential for great poetry. Another great piece my friend. :)
The 'inner ties', Fragile or strong, Right or wrong, May they live long, Till our demise! Loved your poem, Sandra!
It is indeed a most enjoyable moment when this feeling is experienced, and that is when poetry is at its very best. Another wonderful poem.
