Find A Bend Poem by Rafique Farooqi

Find A Bend

Rating: 5.0

You are nowhere
Where you have been
Do you remember
There was a home
We lived there
You made a promise
Now I have a blindfold
I see you
Laid on scattered grasses
Winds seek a flame
Time is ruthlessly
Twisted
Chocking on throats
Let me cry with feeble utter
Divert your mind
From illusions.
Walk over the lonesome alley
Find a bend

It's all about lapse of time! Time never travels backward but memory travels down the track!

Beautifully penned, very evocative. Nice flow and rhythm. Loss and nostalgia depicted in artistic way.
