Fireside Poem by Smoky Hoss

Fireside

Rating: 5.0

You curl up close, at my side.
My little ball of love
You warm me, as I
Hope to be warming you...
... and to think, some people
actually believe that souls don't hold fire;
Incredible.
Love is the spark, we
are the match...
Burn baby, burn

Lovely poem. This could turn into a nice singable tune if you do a second stanza and chorus Chorus Cause i love you baby I want you close to me I love you baby Come close close set me free So if you do another verse as good as number and repeat your chorus twice and end you got yourself a nifty little numero uno. Great poem. And them coming.....the poems

Because we have a cat, Smoky, I first imagined it as your companion here, for " little ball of love" can't be describing a person, right? And thinking of cats, this reminds me of my poem titled " My Labors Ceased." -Glen

On second thought you dont need to write another verse just split your lines into 6 lines each and slot your chorus between verses and you ve got a song
