First Love - Poem by Simon Ngara

A mogul in my world
Her body
Sculpture perfect with a radiant smile
Her twinkling eyes
A strong invisible magnetic field
An attraction I could not resist
Filled with love was her tender touch
Trapped in her trance, I would slay the mythical dragon with my bare hands for her

Her intoxicating smile
My everyday sunshine
Her tender touch
My therapeutic medicine
Her presence
An instant cure to my cancerous disease
Her love
A feeling of undescribable bliss
Her tender kiss
My lifetime dream of walking on the moon
Her sweet voice
My addiction

To me no other existed
This damsel i could not resist
Stiring unexplainable reactions in me
Chemistry undescribable by equations
Turning me into a sucker for love
Mumbling and fidgeting at her sight
That was my first true love
